Alex Wiegel is a Musician and Composer based out of Northwest Arkansas. Graduating in 2023 from the U of A, he acquired a music degree while studying a diverse amount of music. His studies included contemporary, film score, jazz, Afro-Cuban jazz, and many Latin styles. Disciplined in composition, arranging, and songwriting techniques. Alex is primarily a drummer at heart, having played in numerous big bands and currently playing in a psychedelic rock band based out of Fayetteville Arkansas called Pillar Reef. For the past few years, he has focused more on writing music for film. His passion for story telling through music unlocks the greatest amount of creativity and experimentalism in his work where the boundaries are limitless.
